We took a day trip to Jackson, Wyoming with the kids the last Saturday before school started. We started out the day by stopping at IHOP in Idaho Falls for some pancakes. Then our first stop in Jackson was the Alpine Slides. After the slides we headed to the candy store...we ALWAYS stop there...it is a must! We then rode the horse and carriage around the town square. At this point everyone was hot, tired and a little cranky so we went to McDonald's for a quick snack and to enjoy the air conditioning. That evening we went to the Bar J Ranch for dinner and their show. Jaxson learned to clap while we were there and has been clapping ever since. We arrived home at around midnight. It was a long, fun-filled day and we appreciate Mark driving home while the rest of us slept!
(When Meaghan was posting on her facebook page that she was in Jackson with her family she spelled in like her brother's name...Jaxson. It was very cute. And Miss Alexa couldn't understand what we meant by going to Jackson for the day since she spends every day with Jaxson!)
