Meaghan turned 12 on July 27th. We celebrated by taking the camp trailer to Lagoon. It was very fun to watch Alexa ride everything for the first time and to watch the older kids try new rides. They are definitely getting braver and Meg and Nicolle even rode some roller coasters. Gregg bravely tried the caterpillar ride and loved it. Mark and I had fun following everyone around. It was so nice to be camping in the campground that is connected to Lagoon-we could go back to the trailer when we wanted to eat and when Alexa needed to rest.On July 30th, we took Meaghan and 5 of her friends to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then to the mall shopping. We gave each of the girls $10.00 to spend and let them wander around. It was interesting to see what the girls did with their money. Some of them brought extra money with them and bought clothes and some just spent the 10 dollars. They all bought friendship bracelets to remember the night. It is fun the watch them getting more grown-up.
