It was a busy week last week and I regret to say that Easter kind of took a backseat. But, we did get in some egg dying (4 dozen...lots of egg salad sandwiches this week) and an egg hunt in the backyard. Spring has been late coming to Idaho this year. The kids were bundled in winter coats and/or blankets for the 5-10 minutes it took to find the eggs. The Easter bunny came...the kids baskets held a new pocket size hymnbook to go with their scriptures and some other little things to encourage them to read and use their scriptures. Seeing Easter is about Jesus, I wanted this to be important for them. Without the Atonement, what would life be???
